Speedmeter is a GPS-based speedometer and odometer app for iPhone and iPad that allows you to track your speed and distance in both miles and kilometers. It can work offline, so you don't need an internet connection to use it. The app also has a speed limit feature that allows you to check the speed limit of the road you are currently using.
The app has a database of 100,000 locations all over the world that displays and warns you about speed cameras and red light cameras on the road. Additionally, you can check the outside weather temperature and condition. Speedmeter shows your maximum speed, average speed, altitude, trip distance, and trip duration. You can switch between mph or km/h metric systems and it can show your direction by compass. The app also has a Today widget that allows you to check your speed without opening the app. You can also use the app on your Apple Watch.
